Why it matters

A conference is dozens of
moments happening at once.

A keynote on the main stage, a breakout in room 4, a deal coming together at the exhibitor booth, and a candid laugh in the hallway: a conference produces its best images in places no single person can be at once. That is the job.

I cover the whole program so your team walks away with speaker shots for the recap, session photos for the sponsors, and the energy shots that sell next year's conference. It is one piece of my full corporate event photography for Denver.

What I capture

Keynotes, breakouts,
and a headshot booth.

I shoot the main-stage keynotes and panels, the smaller breakout sessions, the exhibitor floor, and the networking that happens in between. Speakers get clean, usable frames, and sponsors get proof their booth was busy.

Many Denver conferences now add an on-site headshot booth for attendees, and I can run one alongside event coverage so people leave with a professional headshot the same day. It is a small touch that drives registration and gives your team a library of fresh staff photos.

I know the rooms
your conference runs in.

Most large Denver conferences land at the Colorado Convention Center or the Gaylord Rockies, and the rest fill the downtown hotels: the Hyatt Regency Denver, the Sheraton Denver Downtown, and the Brown Palace. Each one shoots differently. A keynote hall needs fast, available-light work from the back of a big dark room, while a breakout in a smaller meeting space is close, bright, and intimate.

Knowing these rooms ahead of time means I am in position when your speaker hits the stage, not still hunting for the right angle. I scout the keynote setup, find the clean sightlines for sponsor logos, and plan the walk between concurrent sessions so the coverage holds together across a long conference day in Denver.

About Alyson

Your comms team's
favorite photographer.

"I don't manufacture moments. I find them."

I started my career as a photojournalist, working on deadline for newspapers and wire services where the only option was to get the shot right the first time. That training never left. I bring the same instincts to every conference I cover in Denver: read the room, move quietly, and be in position before the moment arrives.

Over 13 years and 500+ events, I've photographed conferences, galas, and team events for Denver businesses and Fortune 500 brands alike. My work has been published in The New York Times, TIME Magazine, and ABC News. I'm based in Denver and shoot corporate events across Colorado and the Front Range.

FAQs

Conference
questions, answered.

Conference season in Denver runs heavy in September through November and March through May, and those dates fill first. Reaching out 4 to 8 weeks ahead is ideal, and earlier for multi-day programs. Check my current availability here.

For larger conferences I bring a second photographer so concurrent keynotes and breakouts are both covered. We plan the coverage map against your agenda ahead of time so every priority session and sponsor moment is accounted for.

Yes. I can run an on-site headshot booth alongside event coverage, so attendees leave with a professional headshot the same day. It is a popular registration draw and gives your team a fresh set of staff photos at the same time.

You get a next-day preview gallery within 24 hours, so your team and sponsors can start posting during a multi-day event. The full edited gallery follows within 5 business days, with rush delivery available for daily recaps and press.

Personal & professional use license is included, covering recaps, sponsor decks, press releases, websites, and social media. Commercial advertising use is available if you need it, just ask.

Travel within 60 miles of Denver is included, which covers Boulder, the Tech Center, and most Front Range venues. I have also traveled for multi-day conferences further out. Ask about your venue.

Still have questions? I actually respond to emails.
